Plaid: les Toiles de la Montagne Noire

13 October 2014

toiles de la montagne noire textile made in franceThe automnal weather makes me feel lazy….So, I wanted to show you a newcomer at home: a rug I found this summer in the nice village of Cotignac and which is manufactured in Tarn by Les Toiles de la Montagne Noire.

On an almost deserted street,  I found a nice shop: Sava-na Maison, where I discovered les Toiles de La Montagne Noire: made in France quality household linen. I love the name: it sounds like a place in Lord of the Rings, doesn’t it?

If you follow this blog, you know how much I love nice linen and fabrics: I think I can’t resist as it reminds me my grand-ma’s tidy linen cupboard. I couldn’t resist that rug and the small guest towel. The rug will match colours and atmosphere I’m about to create in a bedroom: I used different Farrow and Ball’s whites to make it peaceful.

Rugs have become a must for home decoration over the past years. There are nice ones you expose and ugly ones that you keep and love as they are so comfy…

PS: shop’s owner kindly gave me this Graine de Pastel soap that I discovered in the same time!
